NC Local Events is a Christian, faith-based organization that produces proms, homecomings, barn dances, father-daughter dances, and more for families throughout North Carolina, with the music, modesty, and atmosphere parents can feel good about.

Our story
Built by families, for families.
We created our organization because our kids do not attend public school or any of the dances and events that public schools create, and we wanted to be able to provide our children with the same experiences that they would get in public and private school settings, but in a way that honors the Lord.
So in the spring of 2022, several families decided to get together and host our own dance for our high schoolers. We started with an Enchanted Forest Homecoming. It was such a hit that we decided to do it again and do it better with A Starry Night Prom. A Starry Night Prom had over 150 participants and sold out of tickets.
That experience showed us the need for faith-based dances and events for our community, so we created NC Local Events and sister organization NC Homeschool Events in an effort to meet this need.
