Safety Rules

  • We have a ZERO tolerance policy for any alcohol, drugs, smoking, vaping, or misconduct. Our chaperones reserve the right to escort anyone out the event without warning for violating this rule. Parents will be notified and asked to pick up their kids immediately if they are escorted out. When you purchase tickets for our events, you confirm your willingness to abide by this and pickup your student if we call you to do so.

  • NO weapons allowed. No gun, knife, or any other weapon in any form (including fake/pretend weapons) are allowed on the premises for any reason whatsoever at any time. We have a security team on site at all events, and police WILL be called if a weapon is found on the premises. When you purchase tickets for our events, you confirm that the act of calling the police is the appropriate thing to do in this situation, and you hold NC Homeschool Events harmless if your student goes to jail.

  • Public displays of affection are unacceptable. This includes sitting on laps, making out, inappropriate dancing (grinding, moshing, dirty dancing, twerking, etc.) Our chaperones and security team will warn students once. After this one warning, our team reserves the right to escort anyone out of the event without further warning for violating this rule. Parents will be notified and asked to pick up their kids immediately if they are escorted out.

  • Outside food and drink are not allowed. This is for safety reasons because we do not know if food or drink brought onto the premises is legal or safe or all students at the event. Food and drink found that was not provided by NC Homeschool Events will immediately be confiscated and thrown away.

  • Enjoy yourself and be considerate of everyone else.

Any complaints or concerns about any of our rules should be brought directly to a Planning Committee member or chaperone.
