Homeschool Dances in North Carolina

Proms, homecomings, and father-daughter dances for homeschool students and their families, across the Triad and the Triangle.

What homeschool dances does NC Local Events host?

NC Local Events hosts homeschool dances across North Carolina: a formal prom each spring, a homecoming each fall, and family-friendly father-daughter dances like our Snow Ball. Each one is built for homeschool students and their families, with clean music, chaperones, and a wholesome atmosphere parents trust.

Homeschool students do not have one school to host these milestone nights, so families build them together. We have run homeschool dances since 2022, and our events regularly sell more than 200 tickets, with several selling out smaller venues and moving to larger ones to fit everyone.

Homeschool dances near you

NC Local Events holds homeschool dances in two regions of North Carolina: the Triad (Winston-Salem, Kernersville, and Greensboro) and the Triangle (the Raleigh and Durham area). Families travel in from across the region, so if you are anywhere in central North Carolina, a homeschool dance near you is likely within reach.

Past dances have been held at venues like the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden in Kernersville, Bryan Park in Greensboro, The Ridge Event Venue in Winston-Salem, and Statler Heights. Each event page lists the exact venue and city once the event is confirmed, and you can see the full history in our past events gallery.

Every NC Local Events dance is a Christian, faith-based event: clean radio-edit music, a modest dress code at the formal events, and chaperones and security all night, in a warm atmosphere parents can trust. Students and families of any background are welcome.
