Greensboro's Enchanted Starlight Prom

Bryan Park Golf and Conference Center hosted the Greensboro edition of Enchanted Starlight in April 2026. This was our Triad prom, with a formal theme for homeschool students and friends. The original flyer below belongs to that Greensboro event.

Prom 2026: Enchanted Starlight

Places for photos

Greensboro has two garden settings to consider for photos before the dance. Their city pages explain photography permits and current garden hours.

  • Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden

    1105 Hobbs Road, Greensboro

Garden paths, a stream and a gazebo offer several backdrops. Unpaid photos by family or friends do not need a permit; hiring a paid professional photographer does.

  • Greensboro Arboretum

    401 Ashland Drive, Greensboro

Plant collections, an arbor and a gazebo give your group more outdoor choices. The city requires a permit for a paid professional photographer, but not for no-cost photos by family or friends.

Find your outfit

Compare dress shopping at Four Seasons with suit, rental and tailoring options on Hornaday Road.

Gentlemen: Suit or tuxedo with button-down shirts tucked in.

Ladies: Modest formal wear. No deep, plunging backs or revealing, deeply plunging necklines. Strapless is acceptable as long as the neckline/back requirements are met. Dress length must reach fingertips with arms relaxed at the sides; no inappropriately short dresses.

  • Windsor at Four Seasons Town Centre

    410 Four Seasons Boulevard, Greensboro

Formal and prom dresses to try on in person, with shoes and accessories in the same store.

  • Men's Wearhouse

    5402 Hornaday Road, Greensboro

Suits, tuxedo rentals and tailoring in one location. Ask about fitting appointments and alterations for the outfit you choose.

Read the full dress code and attendee policies. Ask the shop about current stock, fittings and alteration appointments.

Dinner before the dance

Dinner in Greensboro can be part of the evening before you travel to the announced venue. These are restaurant choices, separate from your dance ticket.

  • Melt on North Elm Street

    3606 N Elm Street, Greensboro

Thursday service starts at 11am, with burgers, panini and salads for a casual meal with friends. Use the North Elm location when checking the menu.

  • Green Valley Grill

    622 Green Valley Road, Greensboro

Thursday dinner service starts at 3:30pm. The restaurant recommends reservations; its site lists dining hours and table options.

Homecoming 2026 and Prom 2027 include snacks and cold drinks, but dinner is not included. Check current menus, hours and table availability with the restaurant.

Your first dance

Do I need a date?
No. Come on your own, with a date, or with a group of friends. Students do not have to be homeschooled; follow the event's age and ticket rules.
What happens after my ticket is scanned?
Once you're checked in, join your friends for the evening. Dancing, the photo booth, snacks and cold drinks are part of both announced dances.
What if I'm nervous about dancing?
Start with a song you like, or spend some time taking photos with friends. A professional DJ plays clean, radio-edit music, with snacks and drinks for a break between songs.

After drop-off

At The Ridge

The parking lot is small. Parents may wait in their cars, though leaving after drop-off is preferred if it works for your family.

Returning home is another option if you live close enough.

Before you leave home

No date is required. Students may come on their own, as couples, or with groups of friends, including large groups. Every student must meet the dance's age and ticket rules.

  1. Save each QR-code ticket. Check-in scans the ticket for each student. No student is admitted without a ticket.
  2. Use the advertised start time. Entry to the event area begins at that exact time. Homecoming 2026 and Prom 2027 both start at 7:00pm.
  3. Drop-off options. Parents may drop students off, or students may drive themselves. Drop-off and pickup can happen during the event.
  4. Check the event's end time. Music stops at that exact time, and students begin leaving. Homecoming 2026 and Prom 2027 both end at 11:00pm.

Our dances are Christian and faith-based, with clean, radio-edit music, chaperones, and security. Students of any background are welcome within each event's age rules.

For Homecoming 2026, read the dress code and attendee policies before choosing an outfit.

For Prom 2027: Sunset Vibes, read the formal dress code before choosing an outfit.
