Homecoming 2024: Mysterious Mansion

Places for photos

For an outdoor photo stop, consider an Oak Hollow setting in High Point or a lake backdrop in nearby Jamestown. Check park hours and any session requirements directly.

  • Oak Hollow North Overlook

    1917 Eastchester Drive, High Point

An Oak Hollow park setting for an outdoor backdrop. The city's page links to park maps and current hours; picnic shelters have their own reservation process.

  • High Point City Lake Park

    602 W Main Street, Jamestown

Despite its name, this park is in nearby Jamestown. The lake, bridge and greenway offer a different setting to consider for your group photos.

Find your outfit

High Point has suit rentals and formalwear alterations on Main Street. For dress shopping, the Greensboro option below adds new and consigned choices.

Gentlemen: Suit or tuxedo with button-down shirts tucked in.

Ladies: Modest formal wear. No deep, plunging backs or revealing, deeply plunging necklines. Strapless is acceptable as long as the neckline/back requirements are met. Dress length must reach fingertips with arms relaxed at the sides; no inappropriately short dresses.

  • Fallen In Love

1107 N Main Street, High Point

Suits and tuxedos to rent or buy, with prom appointments available. Contact the shop to compare styles and arrange a fitting.

  • Sew-U-Nique

1101 Main Street, Suite 102, High Point

Appointment-only alterations for evening gowns, prom and formalwear. An option if you already have a dress and want to discuss its fit.

  • Songbirds

    2610 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro

A nearby Greensboro option for new and consigned formal and prom dresses. Ask about current sizes and alteration appointments before making the trip.

Read the full dress code and attendee policies. Ask the shop about current stock, fittings and alteration appointments.

Dinner before the dance

Start with dinner in High Point, or consider nearby Jamestown before heading to the event's actual venue. These meals are separate from the dance.

  • Blue Water Grille

126 E State Avenue, High Point

Thursday service starts at 5pm. The restaurant offers reservations by phone or through its linked OpenTable page.

  • Southern Roots

    119 E Main Street, Jamestown

Thursday service starts at 11am, with Southern food in nearby Jamestown. The restaurant page has its menu and contact details.

Homecoming 2026 and Prom 2027 include snacks and cold drinks, but dinner is not included. Check current menus, hours and table availability with the restaurant.

Your first dance

Do I need a date?
No. Come on your own, with a date, or with a group of friends. Students do not have to be homeschooled; follow the event's age and ticket rules.
What happens after my ticket is scanned?
Once you're checked in, join your friends for the evening. Dancing, the photo booth, snacks and cold drinks are part of both announced dances.
What if I'm nervous about dancing?
Start with a song you like, or spend some time taking photos with friends. A professional DJ plays clean, radio-edit music, with snacks and drinks for a break between songs.

After drop-off

At The Ridge

The parking lot is small. Parents may wait in their cars, though leaving after drop-off is preferred if it works for your family.

Returning home is another option if you live close enough.

Before you leave home

No date is required. Students may come on their own, as couples, or with groups of friends, including large groups. Every student must meet the dance's age and ticket rules.

  1. Save each QR-code ticket. Check-in scans the ticket for each student. No student is admitted without a ticket.
  2. Use the advertised start time. Entry to the event area begins at that exact time. Homecoming 2026 and Prom 2027 both start at 7:00pm.
  3. Drop-off options. Parents may drop students off, or students may drive themselves. Drop-off and pickup can happen during the event.
  4. Check the event's end time. Music stops at that exact time, and students begin leaving. Homecoming 2026 and Prom 2027 both end at 11:00pm.

Our dances are Christian and faith-based, with clean, radio-edit music, chaperones, and security. Students of any background are welcome within each event's age rules.

For Homecoming 2026, read the dress code and attendee policies before choosing an outfit.

For Prom 2027: Sunset Vibes, read the formal dress code before choosing an outfit.
